The fast-paced music video, directed by Edgar Esteves with Asake as a co-director, is a visual feast characterized by rapid cuts and engaging camera angles. Shot over 48 hours in Lagos, Nigeria, the production credits go to Black Square Productions and Nouvelle Films.
In the video, the Nigerian singer proudly dons Mario Balotelli’s No. 45 jersey from Inter Milan’s 2010 Champions League season, adding a touch of nostalgic flair to the visuals.
The video kicks off at an airport with a dramatic military track, quickly transitioning to a lively beer parlour in the heart of Lagos. Here, Asake is seen vibing with fans alongside UK rapper Central Cee. The scene then shifts to a snooker game before moving to the beach and eventually returning to the studio. Throughout these scenes, Asake passionately sings about his carefree lifestyle, drawing parallels to Balotelli and expressing a preference for relaxation over stress, while Central Cee drops fiery bars over the amapiano pop beat.
