Davido

David Adedeji Adeleke, known as Davido, is a Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and record producer born on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He rose to fame with his 2011 hit single “Dami Duro” from his debut album Omo Baba Olowo (2012). A leading figure in Afrobeats, he’s known for hits like “Fall,” “If,” and “Assurance.” Davido founded Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) and has collaborated with artists like Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj. He’s won numerous awards, including The Headies’ Next Rated in 2012, and is recognized as a cultural ambassador for Nigeria.
