Tyla Drops Sensual Video For ‘Jump’ With Gunna and Skillibeng

Tyla has reached dizzying heights in the music industry with the release of the Jump music video in which she performed alongside Gunna and Skillibeng to promote her first album. Shot in the luxurious and vibrant streets of Johannesburg in South Africa which is Tyla’s proud home by the talented NABIL this video is clear and true evidence of the beautification nature of this music group. Skillibeng raised in Kingston Jamaica adds another unique verse and changes the sound and dynamics of the song.

Jump comes from her eponymous debut album tagged a “cross-cultural bop” on the Tyla album review by Bomi Anifowose.

NABIL’s direction brings to life Tyla’s deep affection for Johannesburg while highlighting her ascent to global stardom. “They never had a pretty girl from Joburg,” Tyla sings as Gunna drives her down the street, followed by scenes of Tyla dancing on a pool table. “See me now, and that’s what they prefer / I don’t touch no wheel ’cause I got a chauffeur / First class how I get ’round the world.”

Tyla commands attention throughout the video, remaining unfazed even as two men come crashing through her window to brawl. The video progresses with Gunna serenading Tyla in a club, and Skillibeng coolly delivering his verse. In a standout moment, Tyla halts traffic to start a twerk party in the street, solidifying her status as a bold and captivating performer.
