New Music Africa: Latest African Music From Oxlade, R2Bees, DJ Maphorisa, Ronisia And More

We present new songs from Nigerian Oxlade, Ghanaian R2Bess, South African DJ Maphorisa, and Cape Verdean Ronisia, among others, in our first edition of New Music Africa, a weekly post highlighting some of the best African songs released in the previous week.

Oxlade & Camila Cabello – KU LO SA

Following the success of his previous single, ‘KU LO SA,’ which debuted on A COLORS SHOW, Afrobeats star Oxlade teams up with international Cuban sensation Camila Cabello on the remix of his international smash hit ‘KU LO SA.’

Oxlade enlists the help of proven international sensation Camila Cabello for a remix of his hit single ‘KU LO SA’, with the goal of taking it to the next level.

DJ Maphorisa & Jack Parow – Konings

The first-ever collaboration of South Africa’s coolest muzos, Jack Parow and DJ Maphorisa, demonstrates Mzansi’s melting pot of talent and culture.

The two collaborated to create a banger just in time for the holidays.

‘Konings’ (Kings), a recent release, is described as a blend of Afrikaans rap and amapiano.

DJ Maphorisa is a pioneer in the amapiano genre, and Parow is widely regarded as the best Afrikaans rapper in the country. The marriage of the two musical styles was an unlikely but huge success.

Ronisia & CKay – Problème

Ronisia, a Carpe Verdean singer-songwriter, first collaborated with CKay on ‘lose you’ from the Nigerian singer’s ‘Sad Romance’ album.

Months later, she enlisted the help of CKay for her new song ‘Problème,’ which appears on the deluxe edition of her eponymous album ‘Ronisia.’
