First Look At Mo Abudu’s Short Film ‘Dust To Dreams’

The wagers among movie fans are now at a maddening pitch due to the leaks of behind-the-scenes images of the much-waited short-length film, ‘Dust to Dreams.’ This film is made jointly by EbonyLife Films and Afreximbank through its Canex Anex project making this great leap in African storytelling.

The movie has been hatched by the ingenious brain of Mo Abudu but it has been warmly embraced with all the passion in the world from the multi-talented actor, Idris Elba. All these promises are set to guarantee an enthralling narrative and a great cast. A girl with a piercingly heartfelt relationship with her mother, ‘Dust To Dreams’ centres on figuring out the complexities of family life wherein the teen finds herself on the threshold of facing the earthly father for the first time in her life.

Taking place at the helm of the production are the veteran Nollywood stars Nse Ikpe-Etim and Eku Edewor, with Anita LaMon, Constance Olatunde, and British singer Seal playing major roles. Along with the captivating thriller plots and a huge cast, the version of hostage stories we will observe will be spiced up with true-life experience.

Mo Abudu, the executive producer and producer highlighted that the film would reveal who Africans are, empower African narratives and dispel negative stereotypes, and reminded that the film was made according to the guidelines of the Create Africa organization and involved specific members, such as the famous music group Chocolate City and fashion designer Lanre Da.
