Africa Day 2023: 7 Songs About Places In Africa

The Africa Day annual celebration, which was formerly known as African Freedom Day, is an act of tribute to the heritage set by founding members of the Organization of African Unity on May 25, 1963.

Although the organization’s name has since changed to the African Union (which took effect on July 9, 2002), the core heritage of the foundation is still alive.

Every year, there is a theme for the occasion. This year’s theme is “Afrocentric Architecture Defined: Developing New Landscapes In Nigeria Today, Tomorrow and Beyond,” and “The Future Of Africa and Nigeria’s Leadership Role ” – with the acronym: AFCFTA.
