Rema, Odumodublvck, And Tems Shine At The 17th Headies Awards – Full Winners List

The 17th Headies Awards, Nigeria’s premier music awards ceremony, took place on April 27, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre, delivering a night of electrifying performances and well-deserved accolades. Hosted by actress Nancy Isime, the event celebrated the vibrant talent driving African music forward, with performances by Flavour, Shallipopi, Odumodublvck, Qing Madi, Ayo Maff, and KCEE. The ceremony, which ran until 3 a.m., showcased the diversity and dynamism of Afrobeats and beyond, cementing its status as a cultural cornerstone.

Rema emerged as one of the night’s biggest winners, clinching multiple awards, including Album of the Year and Afrobeats Album of the Year for his groundbreaking project HEIS.

Odumodublvck’s win for Next Rated was a standout moment, as he took the stage alongside his mother and his Anti World Gangster crew, embodying the raw energy of Nigeria’s street-hop scene. His victory, which came with a coveted prize (a car, as is tradition for the category), highlighted his meteoric rise and undeniable impact in 2024.
